The Laboratory of Physiology of the Medical School, University of Athens, in the context of upgrading the diagnostic services provided, announces that in the Unit of Molecular Physiology and Clinical Applications, the following tests are performed:
Assay of mutations associated with thrombophilia and cardiovascular diseases: (Factor V Leiden (1619 G/Α), Factor V R2 (H1299R), Prothrombin (G20210A), Factor XIII (V34L), β-Fibrinogen (-455G/A), PAI-1 (4G/5G), MHTFR (C677T), MTHFR (A1298C), ACE I/D, GP1α (-807 C/T), HPA-1 (a/b), APOB (R3500Q), APOE (2/3/4)).
Required sample volume: 2ml peripheral blood in CBC vacutainer.
Autoantibody detection:
- Myositis associated: Mi-2α, Mi-2β, ΤIF1γ, MDA5, NXP2, SAE1, Ku, PM-Scl100, PM-Scl75, Jo-1, SRP, PL-7, PL-12, EJ, OJ, Ro-52, cN-1A, MHGCR.
- Scleroderma associated: κατά αντιγόνων Scl-70, CENP A, CENP B, RP11, RP155, Fibrillarin, NOR90, Th/To, Pm/Scl-100, Pm/Scl-75, Ku, PDGFR, Ro52.
- Antinuclear: κατά αντιγόνων nRNP/Sm, Sm, SS-A, Ro-52, SS-B, Scl-70, Pm/Scl-100, Jo-1, CENP B, PCNA, dsDNA, Νucleosomes, Ηistones, rib. P-prot, AMA M2.
- Associated with autoimmune liver diseases: κατά αντιγόνων AMA-M2, M2-3E, Sp100, PML, gp210, LKM-1, LC-1, SLA/LP, SS-A, Ro-52, Scl-70, CENP A, CENP B, and PGDH.
Required sample volume: 5ml of peripheral blood in vacutainer serum tubes or 2ml of isolated serum by centrifugation.
Type I interferon signature determination in peripheral blood (following type I interferonopathy)
Required sample volume: 2ml peripheral blood in CBC vacutainer.
Blood sampling appointments: Tuesday and Friday 9:00am-14.00pm.
Samples can be received every day 9.00am- 14.00pm
