Significant Success of the “Physiologion” Physiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine of the EKPA

The scientific organization Fondation Santé supports biomedical scientific research by providing highly competitive scholarships to excellent PhD candidates for projects to be conducted in academic institutions in Greece or Cyprus. For 2023, these scholarships titled «The Sidney Altman Scholarship Program», were awarded to only four graduates, two of whom are conducting their doctoral studies at the Physiology Laboratory of Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The young scientists-researchers, who was awarded the prestigious scholarship, are Aigli-Ioanna Legaki, who works under the supervision of Associate Professor Antonios Chatzigeorgiou and Antonis Roussos, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Konstantinos Palikaras.
